Data Quality for reliability and consistency
It is important when setting the data quality requirements to look at the primary consumer of the data sets. In most cases this is the business process application where the data originates, but if the data sets are used by other applications as well, it is critical that the reliability and consistency of the data are sufficient to meet all business process needs. Establishing good data quality practices and supporting those with the right tools and techniques is a must to prevent inconsistency and incoherence.
